Robotics In Manufacturing Camp
Partnering together for the future
Greater Lafayette Commerce organizes the Robotics in Manufacturing Summer Camp to help stimulate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills for students in grades K-8.
Robotics in Manufacturing Camp consists of several week-long sessions that educate students about the applications of new technology in modern manufacturing. Students sign up for one week of camp and will progressively work through challenges. Each day, they will rotate through five activities, building on what they learned earlier that week. At each station they learn something new about manufacturing, incorporating EV3 robots, Spheros, Little Bits, 3D Printing, and Scratch coding software. This is a great opportunity to introduce students to local manufacturers and potential careers in manufacturing. Â In our innovation-based world, the skills they learn can apply to whatever future career path children may explore.
Sign up for an action-packed week of learning about the manufacturing processes that keep our communities moving forward!
Camps are offered in several locations throughout the Greater Lafayette Region.
