Annual Celebration

Annual Celebration is the membership event of the year, held in the fall, highlighting the successes of the Greater Lafayette Business Community.  Join us as we raise a glass to the companies and volunteers who partner with us to be the voice of business, create jobs and help our members thrive. This is a sit-down dinner with a networking reception.

Boiler Bridge Bash

Boiler Bridge Bash is the final event for the incoming freshman during their Boiler Gold Rush week in August.  Boiler Bridge Bash bridges together campus and community in a fun, relaxing environment in downtown Lafayette.

Business Expo

The Business Expo features products and services from local businesses and organizations.  It is held in the fall.  This is an opportunity to showcase your business to companies and consumers in our area, gain qualified leads, and make valuable business connections.

Career Signing Day 

The Career Signing Day recognizes seniors in Tippecanoe County that have been offered jobs with a local business.

Career & Technical Education Awards 

The Career & Technical Education Awards recognize outstanding local high school junior and senior students that participate in the vocational programs in Tippecanoe County.

Golden Apple Awards 

The Golden Apple Awards honor five exceptional educators from the Greater Lafayette Community that have been nominated by past and present students, parents, and administration. Learn more.

Golf Outing

The Golf Outing is an annual tournament full of networking, camaraderie and fun!  The tournament is a double shot-gun start with several prizes offered for players.  There are two flights, morning and afternoon.  Lunch and beverages included.

Greater Lafayette Christmas Parade

Downtown Lafayette will light up with holiday magic - join the community as we welcome the holiday season with a lighted Christmas parade.

Greater Lafayette Restaurant Week

Greater Lafayette Restaurant Week (GLRW) allows diners to take advantage of event-exclusive dining options at our community’s locally-owned restaurants and eateries. This event was created in conjunction with the Greater Lafayette Marketing Coalition, which includes the backing power of Lafayette and West Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette, Purdue Research Foundation, Purdue University, and Greater Lafayette Commerce. This event looks to increase the quality of life in the Greater Lafayette area. It will add to the arsenal of other high-profile events that help attract and retain talent while highlighting Greater Lafayette as a community of choice.

Manufacturing month is organized into 3 age groups serving K-12 students within our 9 regional counties. This event is held the week of the National Manufacturing Day.

Purdue Football Kickoff Luncheon

The Purdue Football Kickoff Luncheon is held in August.  It is a fun, energetic lunch kicking off the start of the Purdue football season.  Sit with a player at your table and hear from coaches and players.

Robotics in Manufacturing Camp

The Robotics in Manufacturing Camp is designed to bring career awareness to students.  Students are introduced to a portion of the technologies that are used in manufacturing.  The camps are held during the summer months. Learn more.

Storefront Strategies:  Retail Summit

The Retail Summit focus is on what’s next for the retail industry. This event is held in fall.  There will be a keynote address and breakout sessions for attendees. They will be provided with education and tools for retailers and the industries that service retailers.

This quarterly series is a professional development series which provides tools and support to business members who are growing and evolving. The Business Strategies series offers insights into accomplishing business goals and to help business owners secure a competitive position in the market. Monthly Programs and Events

Business INnovations Series

Providing the latest information to business owners, regarding business and technology topics (e.g. tax reform, new tech for businesses, social media, etc.). Business owners will be able to use this information to defend against threats and to identify and exploit opportunities regarding their businesses. Events will consist of a presentation of the topic and Q&A.

CoderDojo

With the anticipated growth in technical careers, coding will become an increasingly important skill for our future workforce.  CoderDojo’s are free computer science clubs for K-12 students.  Students are invited to come explore their interest in coding and work alongside real-life computer science professionals.  Each event is unique!

The Small Business of the Month program is designed to recognize the dedication, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by Greater Lafayette small businesses.  The award recipient is selected by the SBOM committee. Learn more. 

Wabash Valley Lean Network

The Wabash Valley Lean Network is a state-wide, member-driven group.  They focus on applying Lean principles and continuous improvement methods to eliminate waste in business processes so member organizations can gain a competitive edge.
