Business Services
We know our members require a range of services and know-how to keep their businesses running smoothly. Greater Lafayette Commerce provides programs, services and activities that are valuable to both the Chamber’s membership and the community as a whole. We’re always on stand-by, ready to directly provide requested services or to connect those seeking assistance with members who can help.
PODS | Peer Offered Development Strategy
Being a small business owner is a lifestyle. That sounds daunting. For experienced business owners, you know the truth in this statement and understand how good business practices make life and business easier. Sometimes the best advice comes from those who have been in the trenches, just like you.
Greater Lafayette Commerce recognizes the wealth of business knowledge in the community. We are in the process of launching our first Peer Offered Development Strategy groups, or PODS. A small group of peers will work together with a facilitator to solve complex business problems, share examples of useful experiences, and lean on each other for advice regarding their business. Please contact Mark Lowe for more information.
Wabash Valley Lean Network (WVLN)
Sponsored and facilitated by Greater Lafayette Commerce, Wabash Valley Lean Network (WVLN) is a regional, member-driven group, focused on applying lean principles and continuous improvement methods to eliminate waste in business processes so member organizations can gain a competitive edge. WVLN helps train, connect and encourage members on their lean journeys through the exchange of knowledge and experience. For more information, please visit the WVLN website or contact Doug Ellenberger at 765-742-4044.
