ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: TURNING POINTE ACADEMY FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

Turning Pointe Academy for the Performing Arts commemorates 10^th anniversary

Turning Pointe Academy for the Performing Arts commemorated 10 years in business with a GLC-powered ceremony attended by local dignitaries.

Located at 3000 US-52 in West Lafayette, TPA offers dance lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

“I feel very humbled that you are here taking your time to celebrate with us. It is quite an accomplishment – 10 years.” Alisha Kuckartz, owner and lead teacher at Turning Pointe Academy. “In some ways it feels like it's only been a few years, but we have done a lot here.”

To name one example, Turning Pointe Academy received Greater Lafayette Commerce’s Small Business of the Year Award in 2018.

“On behalf of the City of West Lafayette, we are so proud of you. And we are so pleased that you have been here for 10 years. And I already see 10 more down the line,” said Sana Booker, City Clerk of West Lafayette.

Founded in 2013, Turning Pointe offers a full dance curriculum with teaching styles ranging from ballet, lyrical, tap and pom dance, to mention a few. The academy also offers piano and vocal lessons.

“I’m very honored to be here, to recognize you and this wonderful contribution you have made to our community,” said Indiana State Representative, Chris Campbell. “Thank you for your years of bringing joy and expression to the love of dance and leadership to our community.”
