Essentially Aqua commemorates grand opening of new shop

Essentially Aqua recently marked the grand opening of its new store at 525 Main Street in downtown Lafayette.

The natural body and bath care business offers everything from bath bombs to soaps, lotions, shampoos and body sprays. Plus, every item is handcrafted in-house using natural and sustainable ingredients and eco-friendly packaging.

“Not any stitch of this is possible without each and every one of you continuing to come out and support me, and I just support each and every one of you more than you’ll ever know,” said Aurora Wilson, owner of Essentially Aqua. “We just try to make bathing fun. You have to bathe every day so, why bathe boring?”

Wilson founded Essentially Aqua in 2015 on a quest to feel better, to heal and to do so by using natural ingredients.

“Thank you so much for being part of downtown. We appreciate your commitment to the environment,” said Tony Roswarski, Mayor of the City of Lafayette. “We know owning a small business is not easy. You have to live it each and every day, in the morning, night – all night. We know that takes a lot of work."
