GREATER LAFAYETTE CHRISTMAS PARADE MARKS START OF HOLIDAY SEASON

On December 2, downtown Lafayette sparkled with holiday magic during the annual lighted Greater Lafayette Christmas parade – A Very Merry Main Street.

Billed as Indiana’s largest holiday parade, the festive procession traveled west down Main Street from the 1000 block to the 200 block. Spectators enjoyed an enchanting evening, filled with lighted floats, candy, marching bands and even Santa himself!

Organized by Greater Lafayette Commerce, the parade had over 170 entries. The outgoing mayor of the City of West Lafayette, John Dennis, served as the grand marshal.
