"Starting in 1982, to advocate for funding the area’s railroad relocation project, this trip has yielded multiple successes for our community and continues to be an important part of our mission."
-Scott Walker, President & CEO  Greater Lafayette Commerce

Annually, Greater Lafayette Commerce visits our nation's capital. Nearly 40 business owners, community leaders, regional partners and elected officials take to Washington to discuss pressing federal government issues and the effect on our community.

Position papers are created through the Federal Government Committee of Greater Lafayette Commerce and discussed with Indiana's Senators and Representative from the 4th congressional district, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, C-SPAN, trade associations and other government officials.
