Lafayette PC Named 2013 Small Business of the Year
Lafayette PC, 839 Main St., owned by husband-and-wife team Jason and Julie Rubsam, is the 2013 Greater Lafayette commerce Small Business of the Year.
“Lafayette PC exemplifies what it takes to succeed in business,” says Joseph Seaman, president and chief executive officer of Greater Lafayette Commerce. “Jason and Julie Rubsam started small, built their business, gained referrals from happy customers, took on more space and continually give back to the community by helping nonprofits. That’s what makes small business so vital to a community.”
Lafayette Savings Bank is the corporate sponsor of the awards. Holiday Inn City Centre hosted the January event.
Businesses nominated for the Small Business of the Month award must be privately owned, in business under current ownership at least three years, a Greater Lafayette Commerce member, staffed by 50 or fewer employees and involved in the community.
