Scott Walker – President and Chief Executive Officer 

Scott Walker serves as President and CEO at GLC. He brings dynamic leadership and passion for development to the community through his inspirational vision.  With over twenty years experience in economic development and industry, he oversees all strategic plans and implementation.  Scott reports to our Board of Directors and fosters a strong relationship between the Board and the six different organizations that comprise GLC.  As the leader of our organization, Scott continues the mission of supporting the businesses, organizations and individuals who make Greater Lafayette a strong and successful community.                                                              ; (765) 742-4044 ext. 122                                                        



Dennis Carson – Director, Downtown Development 

Dennis Carson serves as Executive Director of the Lafayette Urban Enterprise Association, and spends his time being a champion for Downtown Lafayette.  He engages the public and downtown stakeholders for community and economic change and disruption. He plays a key role in the planning and development of summer festivals.  Dennis is also co-creator of MatchBOX, Lafayette's first coworking studio - a shared space to work and create.; (765) 807-1090


Jody Hamilton – Director, Economic and Community & Workforce Development 

Jody Hamilton serves as the Economic Development Director for GLC.  She has worked in the economic development field for 18 years with a strong focus on business retention, expansion and attraction.  Jody serves on the Indiana’s Technology Corridor as a member, which is a nine county regional marketing collaboration to attract businesses to Greater Lafayette.  She is also an active member of several professional organizations in the Greater Lafayette Area, including the YWCA Board of Directors. Erin Easter – Director, Chamber and Quality of Life 

Erin oversees the Chamber of Commerce council and Quality of Life council. The Chamber is an advocacy and education focused council supporting business interests in the Greater Lafayette area. The Quality of Life council seeks to make strategic improvements in the community, from diversity to sustainable practices and a healthy town and gown relationship, to attract and retain the best employers and employees for a rich community life.   Erin joined GLC in 2009 as a program manager.  She stepped into the role of Director of Chamber & Quality of Life in 2013.; (765) 742-4044 ext. 110





Pete Wagoner – Director, Existing Industry Support 

Pete Wagoner is Director of Industry Support at GLC.  Pete facilitates the Wabash Valley Lean Network and Senior Leadership Network programs, which provide shared learning opportunities for businesses to learn how others are solving similar operational problems, while becoming more competitive in today’s marketplace. Pete also offers one-to-one consulting services to help identify potential improvements in management systems and technology that would increase productivity.; (765) 742-4044 ext. 109





Jerry Holsapple – Loan Manager, Capital Resources Council 

Jerry Holsapple is the Loan Manager of the Capital Resources Council.  He oversees a small portfolio of loans, whose focuses are to help facilitate the creation of jobs and improve the tax base.  These are normally “gap” loans to help with business down payments or relocations expenses, but because they are totally privately funded, Jerry has the flexibility to use them in any prudent manner to further the mission of GLC.  He is also the contact person for our local SCORE chapter, where he helps coordinate a group of experienced business professionals who counsel and mentor small business owners. Resa Hodnett – Program Manager, Membership 

Resa Hodnett is the face of membership for GLC.  Since 2010 she has acted as the Membership Program Manager and is responsible for acquisition and retention of members. She is the staff liaison for the fabulous Ambassador Committee and also the staff representative for Association of Women Business Owners. Resa can help answer questions about maximizing your GLC Membership Benefits as well as recommend ways to plug into the organization. Kim Murray – Program Manager, Community Events 

Kim Murray brought her event planning and marketing background to GLC as the Community Events Program Manager in 2011.  Kim is responsible for various community events hosted by Greater Lafayette Commerce, including the Annual Golf Outing, Dancing & Cruising in the Streets Festival, Uptown Jazz & Blues Festival, Dickens of a Christmas and the Christmas Parade.; (765) 742-4044 ext. 103





Cassidy Kitchel – Program Manager, Sponsorship Sales

Cassidy Kitchel brought her sales experience to GLC as the Sponsorship Sales Program Manager in June 2015.  As a Lafayette native, she is very passionate about the Greater Lafayette community.  Her main focus is on securing sponsorship for all the events and programs that Greater Lafayette Commerce coordinates.  She is continuously working to create innovative, streamlined opportunities for businesses to showcase their investment in the most valuable way possible.; (765) 742-4044 ext. 112




Joan Matson – Accounting Assistant 

Joan Matson is the Accounting Assistant for GLC.  She is responsible for maintaining accounts payable.  She also provides accounting support to program managers and office staff relating to events and budgets.  Additionally, Joan assists with membership and can assist members with questions about events and invoices.  She provides administrative support in the office intermittently, as well.; (765) 742-4044 ext. 108
